The Abysstaians have cut the roads leading from Addis Ababa to Jlmma-Gore, necessitating armed convoys. economic position is moving from bad to worse and anxiety is increasing that the passive resistance of the natives will be effective. A formidable task awaits the new Viceroy, the Duke of Aosta.
