VAST DAMAGE CAUSED United Press Association—B» Electric Telegraph Copyright (Received November 22, 10.15 p.m.) LISBON, November 22. Floods swept the country, causing vast damage. Lisbon is vlrtuaUy isolated, while torrential rain is marooning trains, trams, cars, and stopping the Tagus ferries. The Monte Estoril Hospital patients were rescued from the windows by the fire brigade. The floods caused a railway collision, in which eighteen were injured.
