LAWN TENNIS
WASHDYKE CLUB I The annual meeting of the Wash- . dyke Tennis Club was held in the Hall |on Thursday, Mr W. Blay presiding j over a good attendance of members. The election of officers resulted follows: President. Mr A. B. Ramsay; ' vice-presidents, Messrs D. Anderson, G. Burton, W. Field, H. J. Harris, A. Ross; club captain, Mr W. Blay; viceceptain. Miss E. Parlane; secretary and treasurer, Mrs W. Blay; committee, Misses E. Brown, G. Cartwright, E. Cartwright, B. Cassidy. N. King, B. Kellahan and Messrs D. Anderson, D. Glenday and J. Lee. After some discussion it was agreed that the subscriptions be adults 5/-, junior 2,6, a penalty of 2 6 and 1/to be imposed on subscriptions paid after November 13. A vote of thanks was extended to Mrs D. Kellahan for her kindness in supplying boiling water, etc., on several occasions during last season. Opening day was fixed for Saturday.
