The third series of the waltzing championship (prior to the semi-final) took place at the Scottish Hall on Saturday evening, for silver cups, which are on exhibition at the weekly fixture. The following were selected to compete in the seni--final: Miss Dunnett and Mr Currie: Mrs Sinclair and Mr Aichison; Mrs Cullimore and Mr Griffiths; Miss Guthrie and Mr Fraser. The "winners of the novelty dances were recipients of prizes.
