CONSIDERATION IN IMPERIAL PARLIAMENT British Official vViieles? (Received July 16, 6.30 p.m.) RUGBY, July 15. The Prime Minister (Mr Neville Chamberlain) announced in the House of Commons that he had appointed a departmental committee to examine the practical aspects of a pension scheme for members of parliament, the necessary funds to come from personal compulsory or voluntary contributions from members without any charge to the taxpayers. After the committee has reported Mr Chamberlain proposes to consult representative members of parliament.
