GIFT EVENING
On Saturday, Mrs B. Fielding gave an enjoyable gift evening in honour of Miss Florence Dick whose marriage takes place on July 20. The bride to be received many useful gifts for her home. The evening was spent in music, dancing and cards. The hostess Mrs B. Fielding wore a cinnamon brown wool and lace crepe frock with lemon spray of roses, and the guest of honour wore a frock of apple green wool crepe with lavender spray. The supper table was tastefully decorated with Iceland popples. At the close of the evening Mr L. McLauchlan suitably replied on behalf of Miss Dick.
