WRESTLING
WALKER LOSES ON POINTS By Teleeranh Pres. l - Association WELLINGTON, June 24. Displaying his old-time guile and technique, George Walker made his reappearance in the town hall to-night before a crowded house. His opponent, however, was the formidable Steve Savage, a scientific, orthodox wrestler who gained the decision on points with falls even. Savage obtained his in the fourth round. Walker had dumped him twice, but when he pounced on Savage to press him the latter turned the tables on him smartly. In the last round, however, Walker pitched Savage about the ring like a sack of chaff, gave him an aeroplane spin, deposited him and pinned him. However, the referee awarded the match to Savage, who had given a masterly display of mat-craft.
