FLYING BOATS FORCED DOWN AT SEA United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph- Copyright HONGKONG, March 9. The destroyer Duchess is racing to assist four Royal Air Force flyingboats, forced down in heavy weather in mid-Pacific. It is believed that they are not in immediate danger. One plane succeeded in returning to Hongkong. The three remaining flying boats sheltered in the Great Ladrones group. Four more destroyers were ordered to proceed to the assistance of the boats as the weather was rendering anchorage dangerous. A later message announces that the flying boats arrived safely.
