BON VOYAGE
SISTER ADAMS HONOURED On Monday afternoon, members of the committee of the Mary Raymond District Nurse Association met to say good-bye to Sister Adams, one of the two nurses included in the New Zealand Military Contingent for the Coronation. A presentation was made to Miss Adams by the members who were proud to think that Timaru would be represented at the coronation and by such a personality as Miss Adams. In making the presentation Mrs Raymond wished Sister Adams a very happy trip and assured her of a warm welcome on her return.
To enable some of her friends to say good-bye on Tuesday morning Mrs A. P. Kelland, ‘‘The Barton,” Fairview, gave a very enjoyable tea party in Miss Adams’ honour at the South Canterbury Women’s Club rooms.
