"The New York Times” publishes exclusively what is alleged to be a document written by Leon Trotsky and Just received here. The document charges M. Stalin with deliberately liquidating the Communist revolution by killing off its old leaders. “The lives of those who confessed at the August trial,” says Trotsky, “had been promised them if they gave the desired testimony, but M. Stalin betrayed the promise. It is his intent to eradicate the growing discontent of workers and the populace in general, by terror.”
