YACHT IN COLLISION
MISHAP ON HOLIDAY CRUISE United Press Association —By Rlec*-ic Telegrpph - Copyright ATHENS, August 31. The Nahlin struck a bridge in the Chaicis Strait, and both suffered slight damage. The mishap was due to the strong current in the strait, 120 feet wide, swinging the yach against the bridge, smashing three of the Nahlin’s outswung boats. The King watched the incident from the bridge of the yacht. The escorting destroyers, Glowworm and Grafton, dashed ahead after the collision, their wash swamping a motor boat and capsizing two boatloads of sightseers, who were rescued uninjured. On his Majesty’s return from the cruise, he is going to Balmoral, and newspapers anticipate that when he later comes back to London he will take up his residence at Buckingham Palace.
