SEQUEL TO TRAGEDY IN FLAT
REMANDED ON MURDER CHARGE United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph -Copyright LONDON, August 31. Robert Sheridan Moore, clerk, was remanded on a charge of the wilful murder of a fellov/ Australian, John Towers, in a flat in Clerkenwell, by allegedly stabbing him in the neck with a knife on August 22, Moore denied that the crime was wilful. He explained that Towers was his best pal. They had been drinking together, and had a row. Towers was most provocative, most insulting, and was armed with a flat-iron. Moore said he picked up a table knife in self defence.
