SOUTH CANTERBURY TEAM

To the Editor of " The Timaru .lerald " Sir,—I notice that the two Waimate representatives in the South Canterbury touring side were responsible for all 10 points scored against Southland at Invercargill on Saturday last. Perhaps if these two players had been included in the team that played Otago for the Ranfurly Shield the Shield might have been in Timaru now. No doubt the experiences of this tour will bring borne to South Canterbury Rugby administrators and selectors that the recent move in Waimate for affiliation with North Otago in prefence to South Canterbury Was fully justified. I am, etc., ALL FOR A CHANGE. Waimate, August 31.
