SEALING OF ROADS
PROGRAMME ABANDONED By Telegraph -Pies» Association NAPIER, August 10. The Hawke’s Bay County Council has abandoned its tar-sealing programme owing to increased costs and the additional burden on the ratepayers resulting from the recent Government legislation. It had intended to carry out a programme involving an expenditure of £16,000.
