ARGENTTINE AGREEMENT CANCELLED British Official Wireless RUGBY, August 9. The Anglo-Argentine trade agreement of 1933, has concluded, for the initial period of three years, and on May 7, 1936, the agreement became subject to termination et any time after November 7, on the expiration of the six months’ notice. In April, however, negotiations for a revision of the agreement were undertaken, and m these circumstances, the two Governments agreed to reduce the period of notice, first to four months, and subsequently to three months. The negotiations have not yet been brought to a and the United Kingdom Government has now given notice to terminate the existing agreement on November 7.
