It is expected that the All Blacks back line against Ireland will be:— Gilbert, Mitchell, Oliver, Hart, Caughey, Griffiths and Sadler. Even if Page is fit he is not likely to play as he will not be properly fit. Griffiths is * receiving daily treatment for his leg injury and is recovering. Hore is not available owing to a damaged hand, this necessitating a change in the forwards from those playing against Scotland. Mr V. R. Meredith has announced that he will choose the team against Ireland from—Gilbert, Mitchell, Ball, Oliver, Hart, Tindill, Caughey, Griffiths, Sadler, Lamboume, Dalton, Pepper, Hadley, Reid, King, McKenzie, Manchester, Vorrath, Mahoney and McLean.
