UNEARTHS TIN OF GOLD SOVEREIGNS United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph —Copyright (Received May 8, 9.40 p.m.) SYDNEY, May 8. While a gang of workmen were exsavating beneath an old iron fence in Centennial Park to-day, one man drove a pick into a rusty tin scattering at least forty sovereigns of the 1900 period. The workman’s exclamation of joy brought his mates to the scene, and all work was held up while the locality was scoured for coins.
