AUSTRALIA WINS TEST MATCH United Press Association—By Electric Tel egraph—Copyright (Received February 7, 11.15 p.m.) MELBOURNE, February 7. Mackintoshes were the order of the day when the first croquet test was concluded in rain. Australia won both doubles to-day, New Zealand having won only one game throughout the series against Australia. Results were: Windsor and McCleery (Australia) defeated Mrs Caldow and Stratton (New Zealand). Miller and Hunt (Australia) defeated Mrs Corbett and Hartnell (New Zealand) . Australia—6 rubbers, 12 games, 315 points. New -Zealand —1 game, 139 points. The final scores in the triangular series in the first test are:
The second triangular test begins on Saturday. The teams representing England and New Zealand will be the same as played in the first test. The Australian team is: Miller, Windsor, Mrs E. Terry, and Miss A. B. Morrison.
