WELCOME AT LAUNCESTON United l-*ress Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received November 16, 11.40 p.m.) LAUNCESTON, November 16. j The welcome to the Duke of Glou- j cester here was on all fours with that at Hobart, a children’s demonstration being the feature. Their drilling greatly impressed the Royal visitor. He attended a civic reception and called at the Travellers' Club. He then went to City Park for the public reception, where he received addresses from various organisations. The Duke to-night attended a dance given in his honour, and arranged by the City Council. To-morrow the Duke will visit Burnie.
