WOMAN ASSAULTED
SEQUEL TO DIVORCE CASE. United Press Association—By Electric ~el egraph—Copyright SYDNEY, November 16. Miss C. Jollie Smith, a prominent Sydney solicitor, was preparing an affidavit on behalf of Kisch. at her office this morning, when a man entered and struck her over the head with an iron piping. She was sent to hospital with badly lacerated wounds on the scalp and probable concussion. Her assailant was arrested. It is understood that the attack on Miss Jollie Smith is connected with a divorce case, in which she appeared yesterday, and was in no way connected with the Kisch case, although she was engaged upon it when it occurred.
