THREE SHOPS DESTROYED
FIRE AT WARKWORTH By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, October 28. The business premises known as Hamilton’s Building in the main street of Warkworth were destroyed by fire early this morning. The occupants were J. L. Buchanan, land agent, J. Williamson, bootmaker, and B. Hamilton, draper. A bucket brigade failed to quell the flames, but saved the adjacent premises. Hamilton is a heavy loser, a large quantity of uninsured Christmas stock having just arrived. The building, owned by Hamilton, was insured for £4OO. Williamson’s stock was insured for £l5O. Buchanan was not insured.
