WATERSIDE DISPUTE
EIGHT SHIPS AFFECTED. By Telegraph—Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, June 25. No settlement was reached to-day in the dispute between the employers of waterside labour at Lyttelton and the waterside workers regarding the goslow tactics alleged to have been used by men in working the Union Company’s steamer Wingatui. Including the Maori, which loaded only mails and perishable goods, eight vessels are affected by the dispute. It is stated that there is a possibility that work will be resumed to-morrow morning.
