ARBITRATION COURT
MR JUSTICE BLAIR TO TAKE URGENT CASES. By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, May 18. An announcement that arrangements had been made for his Honour, Mr Justice Blair to take urgent cases before the Arbitration Court during the absence of Mr Justice Frazer on the Dairy Commission, was made to-day by the Minister of Labour (Hon. Adam Hamilton), replying to a deputation from the Trades and Labour Council, which protested against the delay which had occurred in dealing with compensation claims. The Minister pointed out that the delay did not appear to be any greater at present than was normal. He said that judges of the Supreme Court were fully occupied with other work, and it would possibly be early in June before Mr Justice Blair could arrange to deal with Arbitration Court cases.
