COLD SNAP IN AUCKLAND
SNOW, HAIL AND RAIN. By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, May 18. Bitterly cold winds, accompanied in various places by snow, hail and rain were experienced throughout Auckland province to-dry. The boisterous westerly weather which commenced on Tuesday continued, causing high seas on the west coast and interfering with shipping. Conditions on Waitemata harbour, however, were not very rough. Several coastal vessels are barbound at Onehunga.
