BRITAIN’S FIGHTING FORCES
OPENING OF ROYAL TOURNAMENT. British Official Wireless (Received May 18, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, May 17. The Royal Tournament, at Olympia, in which the Navy, Army and Airforce combine to present an annual programme for the benefit of the service charities, and which constitutes one of the most popular featuges of the London season was opened to-day by the King and Queen. The King inspected the triple guard formed by the Royal Navy, with the King’s colours, the Coldstream Guards, and the Royal Airforce.
