HIT BY FALLING TREE
YOUNG FARMER KILLED By Telegraph—Press Association # MASTERTON .May 17. Neil George McKay, aged 25, was thtally injured on his farm at Alfredten to-day, when he was struck by a IJlanb of a falling tree. A wind of almost gale force was blowing and uprooted a large rimu tree, a branch of which struck McKay when he stepped out of a nearby tent. Death, it is thought, was instantaneous. fThe tragedy occurred in very rough country, and the settlers had an ar duous task bringing the body to the ho mestead.
