TENNIS CLUB’S DANCE. The dance held in aid of the Tennis Club’s funds was a success both socially and financially, there being visitors from Pareora, Otipua, St. Andrews, Timaru and Cave. ihe novelty dance “partners” '* as won by Mr Ross Davison and Miss Noel Talbot, while Mr R. Thompson and Mrs Crawford Daniel won the lucky spot waltz and Miss O’Donoghue (Salisbury) won the cake competition. Much interest was displayed in the Belle of the Ball competition for which Miss Alice Davison secured the majority of votes and was presented with a bouquet by the club's president, Mr M. P. Daniel. The master of ceremonies, Mr Jas. Richards (Salisbury) was assisted by Mr L. Bennetts, Otipua. Among those present were:—Mr and Mrs L. Bennetts, Mr and Mrs R.
