BANKER CHARGED
ACQUITTED BY AMERICAN JURY. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright NEW YORK, June 22. Charles E. Mitchell, former chairman of the National City Bank, was acquitted to-day by the jury on all counts of the indictment, which charged that he had deprived the Government in 1929 and 1930, of more than 850,000 dollars through income tax evasion. The jury was out for 24 hours.
