GIVEN HIGH OFFICE IN HESSE. United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyrlgh t (Received June 8, 5.5 pun.) BERLIN, June 8. The Berlin correspondent of the “Daily Mail” says: “For the first time since the* establishment of the German Republic, a prince has been given a high state office. Prince Philip of Hesse, whose mother is the ex-Kaiser’s youngest sister, made a state entry into Cassell as Governor of the Province of Hesse, over which his ancestors ruled. Crowds cheered when General Goering inducted the Prince in office, Prince Philip declaring himself an enthuias tic Nazi supporter.
