THE KING’S PLANS
ON EVE OF ECONOMIC CONFERENCE. British Official Wireless (Received June 8, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, June 7. The King and Queen left Buckingham Palace this afternoon, by road for Windsor Castle, where the Court will remain for about a fortnight. The King is returning to London on Monday to open the World Economic Conference. Princess Elizabeth, with her parents the Duke and Duchess of York to-day attended a full dress rehearsal of the Aldershot military tattoo, at which 60.000 children, in school parties, were present.
