AUSTRALIAN LAMB
BRITISH BUTCHERS PLACE GOOD ORDERS. LONDON, December 24. Illustrating the advertising value of the Australian gift lambs, a Manchester butcher who handled one on behalf of a recipient, was so impressed with its quality that he ordered 50 a week. Another sought a quotation for lots of 300. A Fleet Street restaurant proprietress who displayed a lamb in the window of her restaurant, with an Australian flag, invited a group of British journalists to sample a lamb dinner.
