Double express service from this date until advised. Subject to any necessary alterations, mails will close at the Chief Post Office, Timaru, as under:— Registered letter mails close one hour earlier than ordinary letter mails. Only parcels prepaid at express transit rate are forwarded by express trains. Late fee at railway station cleared at due time arrival of express trains. For Northern Offices of New Zealand: Daily, at 12.30 p.m. and 3.15 p.m. For Christchurch, North Canterbury and Westland: Daily, at 6 a.m, 12.30 p.m. and 3.15 p.m. and letters only 7 p.m. For Temuka and Geraldine: Daily, at 5 a.m.. 12.30 pun., and 3.15 p.m. For Ashburton: Daily, at 6 a.m, 12.30 pun., and 3.15 pun. Saturday, letters only 7 p.m. For Waimate: Daily, at 5 a.m. and 6 aun. For Oamaru and intermediate offices Daily at 6 aun. For Waimate, Oamaru, Dunedin, Invercargill and all southern offices: Daily at 10.45 aun. and 2.45 pun. For Fairlie, Pleasant Point, etc.: Daily, at 6 aun. (letters only) and 3.30 pun.
