The Gale did not arrive to schedule yesterday but she is due to call here to-day to load for Wellington and Wanganui. Given good weather she should sail this evening for Lyttelton.

The Waipiata is listed to arrive tomorrow from Dunedin to pick up Wellington and Auckland shipments. She will remain in port over the holidays and should depart for Lyttelton on Wednesday. The Orepuki will not be here tomorrow as was expected. She is now due on Thursday from Dunedin to load for Wellington and Wanganui. General Sydney cargo and a shipment of Australian coal should reacti Timaru on Thursday from the south by the Waikouaiti. The vessel is due from Dunedin and should sail for Lyttetton the same day.

Wellington and Wanganui consignments are to be taken by the Storm which is due to arrive from Dunedin on December 31st. She is scheduled to proceed to Lyttelton the same day. To load for Wellington and Auckland the Waimarino is set down to call at Timaru on January 4th. The Opihi is down to reach this port on January sth to take Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth shipments. She is due from Oamaru and should sail that day for Lyttejlton. Overseas. The Bencruachan is to lift a shipment of meat and general Home cargo at Timaru on December 30th. The Canadian Leader did not sail last night, but she should clear Timaru early this morning for Dunedin. She is taking general cargo for New York, Boston, Halifax and Continental ports.
