RAINSTORM IN SYDNEY.
TRAM JUMPS RAILS. United Press Asaociatlon—By Electrla Telegraph—Copyright (Received March 21, 12.19 a.m.) SYDNEY, March 20. During a terrific rainstorm in the city to-night, a tram slipped on the wet rails and crashed into the rear of another train. Both cars were telescoped forty persons being taken to hospital. Five were admitted, two in a serious condition. The driver jumped clear, but a man in the front compartment was unscathed. Viewing the broken woodwork and glass, it is incredible that more were not seriously injured.
