THE WEATHER.
Mr F. L. Wooles. Wind fresh northerly, weather fair and warm. Dominion Meteorologist. An anti-cyclone is covering New Zealand, and a depression is situated over south-eastern Australia. Expect light and variable winds, but soon tending to northerly and later freshening in and south of Cook Strait. Seas smooth to moderate. Weather fine generally, with rising temperatures, but cloud increasing to-morrow in western districts.
