CYCLING.
TIMARU CYCLING AND ATHLETIC CLUB.
A committee meeting of the Timaru Cycling Club was held on Monday, the following being present—Messrs R. A. Rodgers, R. Peebles, F. Ward, R. Rennett, W. Willmott, and J. W. Mitchell.
After a brief discussion, it was decided to hold an open race to Pleasant Point and back on March 12, starting from Maori Hill at 6 p.m. It was agreed that prizes and officials should be the same as for last race. It was also decided to hold a full committee meeting on Wednesday, when it is expected that the number of routes, etc., of further races this season will be arranged.
