WORKERS DECLINE REDUCED PAY. By Telegraph—Press Association PALMERSTON N., December 29. At a meeting of eighty flax-workers at Shannon this afternoon they unanimously decided not to accept work for the wages, reduced by 33 1-3 per cent., as recently approved by the Arbitration Court, after hearing a request from the millers for that reduction in view of the depressed state of the industry.
