TASMAN YACHT RACE.
NO DEFINITE ARRANGEMENTS. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright ' (Received December 28, 11.20 p.m.) MELBOURNE, December 28. Mr F. J. Bennell, owner of the yacht Oimara, states that nothing definite has been arranged concerning the race across the Tasman. Mr Stack, of Christchurch, has withdrawn, but a Wellington yachtsman has since been In communication with him on the •übject. Mr Bennell has decided to sail over to New Zealand, leaving Melbourne for Auckland about January 10. The crew consists of the navigator, also Mr Bennell and his son, and possibly two more. The Oimara is now being overhauled for the trip.
