Rough water caused the postponement of the single sculls at the Empire Games until to-morrow. At a meeting to-day, it was decided to continue the Empire Games at regular intervals. A committee was appointed to arrange details, consisting of Messrs T. R. Loudon (Canada), R. H. Weir (Australia), Captain Wellsford (South Africa), R. J. Hobbs (New Zealand) and J. T. Wadmore (England). The committee will report to a second meeting to be held on Friday. It is considered probable that a four-year plan will be adopted. ENGLAND WINS BOWLING. Gallagher, Australia (1501bs) was awarded a two to one split decision by the judges over E. D. Pierce, South Africa, in a semi-final. The crowd favoured Pierce. In the other semi-final, F. Malin (England) gained the decision over Teddy Phillips (Canada). In the 1471bs class, semi-final, Leonard Hall (South Africa' gained the decision over F. Brookman (England). In the 1261bs class semi-final, F. R. Meachem (England) beat Paul Hecteau (Canada); 1121bs class semifinal, T. Pardoe (England) gained the decision over R. Galloway (Canada); 1351bs class semi-final, James Rowland (Scotland) gained the decision over Albert Love (England); llOlbs class •emi-final, H. Mizler (England) scored • technical knock-out against Thomas Holt (Scotland) in the second round. The Gallagher-Pierce bout was featured in the programme. At the beginning of the second round, the Australian had a close shave, when Pierce caught him with a jolting left, and drove Gallagher backwards, the latter recovering quickly, and fought carefully from then on. His cleaner hitting and straight left punching swung the tide in his favour. The wrestling finals resulted:—Bantamweight, J.
