He recently mac flights unaccompanied by a pilot or another person. Solo flights were made at Northold Aerodrome aboard a Tomtit two seater, which he entered for the King’s Cup when it was flown by Squadron-Leader Don. The Prince’s flights were of short duration, and he did not go far from the aerodrome, but his take-off and landings were most successful
