PERSONAL.

Mr E. C. Hazlett, of Dunedin, was a passenger by the north-bound express. The Hon. P. A. de la Perrelle, Minister for Internal Affairs, passed through Timaru yesterday on his way to Wellington.

At a meeting of the New Zealand Public Service Association in Wellington yesterday, Mr G. McKessar (Timaru) was elected a vice-president, and Mr.S. J. Collett (Timaru), a member of the executive.

Hamilton, is that of Mr Hamilton himself, so Mr Hamilton will be re-elected. He represents the school committees of Canterbury on the board at present.
