AMERICA’S CUP.
REPAIRING THE CHALLENGER. British Official Wireless RUGBY, July 11. Sir Thomas Lipton’s Shamrock V., the British challenger for the America’s Cup, will leave for New York at the end of next week. She is at present at Gosport, undergoing the modifications necessary before a racing yacht can safely face the rigors of the Atlantic crossing. The first of the seven races for the cup is fixed for September 13.
