FLIGHT TO JAPAN.
INITIAL STAGE COVERED. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received July 13. 7.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, July 13. A message from Tacoma states that Captain Bromley landed in the ’plane the City of Tacoma to-day, after a non-stop flight from Burbank, California. He said he would probably take off for Tokio after two or three days indulging in speed tests. A Los Angeles message states that Harold Gatty, a 27-year-old Australian, will accompany Captain Bromley on his proposed Tokio flight.
