' The body of a man, believed to be that of Samuel Burton, a veterinary • surgeon at Hamilton, was found alongside a car near Putaruru this after- v noon. A gun was found beside the I body. Mrs Ada Alice Kyle, of Kew, was | injured at Purakanui on Saturday j afternoon, through a rifle exploding i while it was being taken apart by a j young man. The bullet struck Mrs I Kyle below t«he right eye. She received J medical attention, and later was j brought to Dunedin hospital for X-ray ] examination.
