The team totals to date are as follows:—Hibernians 501, Druids 498, Citzens 468. Oddfellows 453. SCHOOL GAMES. The Catholic Schools of Temuka, Pleasant Point and Kerrytown met at Temuka for football and basketball games. In both basketball games, the Temuka girls were successful, defeating Pleasant Point by 10 goals to 0, and Kerrytown by 6 goals to 2. Pleasant Point and Kerrytown combined in the football match against Temuka. The last-named won by 6 points to 3, W. Leonard and Cotterell scoring tries for the victors, and G. Dwan knicking a goal for the losers. After the games the Sisters of St. Joseph’s entertained all the children to afternoon tea in the Catholic Hall. NOTES. A meeting of ladies interested in the formation of a women’s division of the Farmers’ Union will be held in a vacant shop (opposite Bank of New Zealand) on Tuesday, at 2 p.m.. THE OPTICAL SPECIALIST.
