ANOTHER STATE SHOWS DEFICIT. ! United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright ADELAIDE, This Day. The Premier (Mr Hill), made a statement in the Assembly on the State’s financial situation. The total accumulated deficit for the past four years amounted to £3,881,000. He said expenditure would have to be curtailed and salaries and wages reduced. The House adjourned for a fort- , night to allow the Government to give further consideration to the position.
