ECHO OF PESHAWAR. United Press Association—By Jiectric - - (Received July 8, 8.30 p.m.) DELHI, July 7. The civil and military action in firing to suppress riots in Pesnawar on iuril 23, were entirety upheld by the Inquiry Committee who pay a tribute to the courage, resource and forbearance of the men u.ider gieat provocation. The Committee is of opinion that armoured cars are unsuitable for the onditions prevailing in Peshawar, ana suggest a thorough consideration of che question of employing cars in quelling civil disorders. The Government of India endorse ,he report, and promise to consider the recommendations. One thousand students were unable o sit for the law examination at Calcutta University yesterday, owing to icketing by congress volunteers, who included fifty women of high cast Indian families. Every entrance to the hall was blocked, and the candidates, vyho refused to leave, were bodily removed.
