RECEPTION IN CALIFORNIA. United Press Association—By Electric Te! egraph—Copyright SAN FRANCISCO, July 7. San Franciscans lined roof top 6, a thronged civic centre and crowded fields on Monday accorded Wing-Com-mander Kjngsford-Smlth and his comnanions in the Southern Cross from Oakland a great welcome. They were hurried to Emarcadero, where a parade was formed with sirens screeching, and the procession moved up the market street to the City Hotel, where the airmen were greeted by the Mayor (Mr James Rclph). After the reception they were the guests at informal receptions, and a formal banquet at night concluded the ceremonies.
