SYDNEY STOCK EXCHANGE RESTRICTIONS. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received July 8, 8.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 8. The decision of the Stock Exchange to prevent forward selling of securities for an indefinite period, in order to curb the activities of the “bears,” caused a little heartburning to-day, but anticipation of distinct reaction was realised. Industrials were fairly steady, but bank shares were a little easier.
