END OF PROPOSED LONE FLIGHT. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright ST. JOHNS (Newfoundland), July 6. Major C. S. Wynne-Eyton was painfully injured when a Dehaviland Puss Moth aeroplane crashed in the takeoff for Harbour Grace, whence he had planned to start a lone flight to Ireland. The spectators removed him from the wreckage three minutes before the gas tanks exploded, burning the ’plane. The flyer's condition is not serious.
